Experts will lead students through…
Our workshops are offered virtually.
The Adobe Connect Classroom software allows us to provide an excellent virtual experience. Year after year, students tell us it works very well.
The platform allows us to use webcams, live instruction, small group collaboration in breakout rooms, one-on-one support, multiple communication methods including voice, chat, polling, and much more. All resources (documents, videos, worksheets, etc.) will be shared electronically in a workshop portfolio.
Those who prefer an in-person option in Central Ohio can consider a Rising Senior Private Consultation. You can read more about those here and their differences here.
What do parents have to say?
What did we find most helpful? The confidence my daughter gained through the College Admissions workshop about the entire admissions process and what she needed to do (and by when). She didn’t feel like she was flying blind, and I never had to nag about upcoming tasks. I have also loved the exclusive e-newsletter. Fantastic source of ongoing information.
Go to At the Core! Unfortunately, you can’t rely on the high school to guide you in as much detail as At the Core did for us! We’ll be back in 4 yrs when our next child is ready for this process!
Our family is finally finished with the college search process, and it feels great. My youngest just got into his dream school and is super excited about the fit. Both my sons attended the College Application Workshop. All the resources have been extremely valuable in helping our family navigate the next steps. Thanks so much for doing what you do.
I thought she’d been in her room watching Netflix all summer. Then she showed me her spreadsheet with admissions requirements, available scholarships, admission deadlines, which essays are required, etc. for all seven schools she is interested in. She’s also sketching out essays. We’re so happy we had her take the workshop – there is no way she would be this far along if she had not.
Why should your student take this workshop?
100% of students who responded to our survey said they would recommend the workshop to others! What do our past students have to say?
It allowed me to be confident that I was completing my applications correctly and helped me to start them ahead of time.
It jumpstarted my success.
I learned a lot about the application process and how to get started before most kids. I felt like I got ahead of my classmates.
It helped me feel on top of things and lowered my stress about my application.
My daughter’s experience with At The Core has been nothing short of exceptional. She has commented numerous times that her senior year has been so much less stressful since she followed their advice.
