Our program & eBook are designed to ensure your rising freshman starts college off on the right foot
Sending your child to college can be scary. You need support, guidance, and answers to your questions about academics, safety, finances, communication, and more.
You’ll attend a college orientation soon (some great and some so-so), but this summer, we are also here to help your family!
Over the past 10 years, we have accumulated tips, tasks, and a ton of resources we know you’ll value. We created this program and eBook to include all the insider tips we would want our families to know and think about in the coming months-all that stuff we wish we knew beforehand!
Both parents and students will appreciate the chance to learn together about what to expect and what you can be doing over the summer. The topics we will cover will generate some great conversations.

Our Getting Ready for College package costs $49 and includes:
- One 90-minute, recorded webinar you can watch together as a family (when it fits your schedule)
- Our custom eBook packed with additional support on the topics of: academics, experiential learning, careers, finances, health, safety, legal concerns, life balance, and social struggles. Our eBook includes checklists, shopping, and packing lists as well.
But wait! Won’t we learn all we need to know at our college’s orientation?
Orientations are great, but they simply don’t have the time to cover everything. Check out our blog about what will (and won’t) be covered at your college orientation.
Our program will be wide ranging but will include:
- Tips for success in all areas of college life
- What we wish we would have known before our children went to college
- Preparing academically for college, both in and out of the classroom - How will college be different?
- Leveraging career planning for future success (internships, Career Services, job fairs)
- Important financial conversations families need to have
- Health - physical and mental - tips for dealing with illness, emergencies, maintaining balance, etc.
- Staying safe - things students need to keep in mind (It’s good to hear this from someone other than mom and dad!)
- Common struggles for freshmen (dorms, making connections, roommates, loneliness, time management, asking for help, & more)
- The new adult relationship between the student and parents
- Staying connected
