“TBA” means that we don’t know if the program will return again this year. The link goes to last year’s program.
Many of the camps below are located in Ohio because we are headquartered there, and we simply can’t list camps from all 50 states. (Although we do have a selection of choices outside of Ohio too!) You might find an experience worth traveling to Ohio and make it part of a summer family excursion.
In addition, you can use this list as inspiration for your own search. We recognize that some camps below are financially beyond the reach of families. Use Google and some key phrases like “engineering summer camp near me” to see what you find. Often, you can find an alternative option. Also, check with your school counselor. They may have ideas to share.
We do not have personal experience with the vast majority of camps on this list and including them here does not constitute or imply endorsement.
Families should recognize that going to a particular camp does not provide an inside track to college acceptance. However, these experiences go a long way in exposing students to careers and helping students tell their story on a college application.
