You have been invited to a unique, valuable, and FREE program to support your student as they prepare for college. Beth Probst, founder and CEO of At The Core, and Maureen Wagner, Executive Director of the Huntington Learning Center, have crafted a program of tips and tools to share with you to help your student prepare for the journey to college and beyond including tips on how to prepare for the ACT/SAT exams. We will discuss practical, invaluable topics that will help any family plan effectively!

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Parents – Grade 8-10 (Seating is limited. We kindly request one parent per household.)
Topics will include:
- What colleges are looking for in their applicants
- The application process
- What students should consider when choosing high school courses (AP, IB, Dual Enrollment)
- ACT/SAT/PSAT – discussion of “test optional,” tips on how to prepare and how they help with scholarships
- How to choose a major
- What families can be doing now to prepare
- And so much more!
Spend 90 minutes gaining the knowledge you need to tackle the journey to college with CONFIDENCE AND CLARITY.
COVID note: In-person programs may be moved to a virtual format based on guidance from health officials and at the discretion of the venue. We will communicate if this switch becomes necessary. Masks are strongly recommended for all attendees regardless of vaccination status.
